  27. One way to look at the speed of the connection is to drop the courier 
  28. into local command mode and then do an ati6.

  30. But I really don't see the need for this. I get a pretty good idea of how 
  31. good the connection is by watching the throughput while transferring 
  32. files or by watching how fast the screeen displays (this also gives me a 
  33. good idea of how good/bad the line is).

  35. I have both a Courier V.everything and a Supra 288 and the Supra will sit 
  36. there and happily display a 28.8k connection on receive while giving me 
  37. download rates of 3000 cps. The Courier doesn't display anything but 
  38. does give me 3350+ cps on 28.8k receive. I'll do without the display to 
  39. ge the better rates, thanks...
